The first meeting of The Jewish Geneological Society of Great Britain at SDRS happened yesterday. It was a great success with nearly all the chairs taken. Anne Marcus hopes to be holding the next meeting there, probably in May.
Marcelle Baum's recounting of her and her husband's trip to Poland was both very interesting and emotional. She also brought along a very special collection of memorabilia, including a carving of an old man which a member of her family had made whilst in the concentration camp.
Go to Image Gallery to see more photos from the event.
The next meeting of the JGSGB will be held on 15th May, 2016 at SDRS from 1.30 pm.
